Cal State San Bernardino men's golf is proud to host the Battle in the Desert annually at Rams Hill Golf Club in beautiful Borrego Springs, California.

Located in the heart of the Anza-Borrego Desert, Rams Hill offers an extraordinary golf experience surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes. Designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, this 18-hole golf course is known for its meticulous conditioning, strategic design, and stunning mountain vistas. Rams Hill offers a premier golf experience, complemented by a full-service restaurant and a variety of stay-and-play packages.

The golf course has earned national recognition for its excellence, consistently ranked among the best golf destinations in the country. According to Golf Digest, Rams Hill is currently ranked No. 91 in America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses and No. 46 among all golf courses in California, both public and private. Golfweek has also recognized Rams Hill’s exceptional quality, ranking it T-61 among the Best Resort Golf Courses in America and T-7 among the Best Public-Access Golf Courses in California.

Rams Hill Golf Club recently completed an exciting transformation with its conversion of both the greens and fairways to Bermudagrass strains. This multi-million dollar project aimed to enhance play-ability and sustainability in the desert climate. The new TifTuf Bermudagrass fairways and Mini Verde Bermudagrass greens create impeccable conditions while reducing water usage, thus aligning with Rams Hill’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
