Five Coyotes were recognized as some of the Inland Empires' best

Chafeh was one of five Coyotes honored by The Press Enterprise.

RIVERSIDE — It couldn't have been a more fitting end to one of the best years in athletics history at Cal State San Bernardino, but the proverbial icing on the cake for the 2009-10 season may have just come in the last week.

Jane Chafeh, a senior to be for the Coyote volleyball team, was named OnCampus.PE.com Women's Athlete of the Year. In her junior season, Chafeh led the Coyotes to their second straight semifinal appearance in the NCAA Tournament. She was named to both the AVCA and Daktronics All-American first teams and was selected as the West Region Player of the Year.

Britney Butler (Softball) and Sara Hoffman (Volleyball) were each named to the Women's OnCampus first team while Bryan LeDuc (Basketball) and Gene Webster Jr. (Golf) were named to the Men's OnCampus first team.
