WWPA All-Academic Teams

SAN BERNARDINO — Two Cal State San Bernardino water polo players were named to the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) All-Academic team.

Kaitlin Hartman, a senior nursing major, and Jennifer Goetz, a junior kinesiology major, were two of 72 women’s players who earned a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50-percent of the team’s contests in that season and was classified as a full-time student who has completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at his institution.

Hartman, who closed her career at third on the school’s all-time scoring list with 273 goals, posted a 3.91 GPA. Goetz also notched a 3.40 GPA while scoring 20 goals this season.
