NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Just a day after getting named to the Division II Ping All-West Region team, Cal State San Bernardino’s Gene Webster Jr., was selected as an All-American for the third time in his career.

The senior from San Bernardino won both the Coyote Classic at Arrowhead Country Club and the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational in Turlock, Calif., this season and fired a career low 63 in one round of each of those tournaments. Webster placed in the top 10 five times and top 20 eight times and finished the season with a 72.62 stroke average for the year.

The Coyotes finished the season at the NCAA Men’s Golf West/Central Super Regional where CSUSB took ninth, missing out on its sixth straight NCAA Championship berth.
